Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples is an American actor and singer from the United States. She is most famous for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the lead role of Jerrica Jem Benton on the feature film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey was a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre during her early years. Her speech was the valedictory of her school at Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University was willing to admit her. However, she turned down the opportunity twice. It was the second time that it was due to her desire to play in Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress was also seen in the film and television shows Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective and The Good Mother. She played a prominent role for the Nashville series in which she was Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the best actors younger than twenty in September 2014.
